The end of CRCT



This week in my World Cultures Class, students are watching the 1982 Movie of Gandhi which won 9 academy awards.

The move is directed by Richard Attenborough, Starring Ben Kingsley, Candice Bergen and John Gielgud.

Movie notes will be presented and discussed to ensure that students have a good understanding of what the movie is about and are able to identify key themes when they appear in the movie.

Remix Culture






It was interesting to find out that the famous composer Bach often relied on recycling his own compositions or borrowing music from his predecessors or contemporaries. This was accepted in the 17th and 18th century but today would qualify as plagiarism under the copyright laws. If you listen to his music Bach was a master of recasting, merging burrowed materials with his own ideas to produce works rhythmically more exciting. Bach did not bring a new style, but was thought to enrich the music
